In this presentation, the speaker will review the most common causes of hepatotoxicity in patients with inflammatory bowel disease. The existing literature on clinical phenotypes of injury due to azathioprine/ 6-mercaptopurine, TNF-alpha inhibitors, and anti-integrins will be reviewed and the potential underlying mechanisms will be discussed.
