Explore the role of liver transplantation in acute liver failure (ALF) due to drug-induced liver injury. Dr. Karvellas will focus on hepatotoxicity, comparing the pathophysiology of ALF in cases of acetaminophen (APAP) overdose with idiosyncratic drug-induced liver injury (DILI). He will also discuss prognostic markers and outcomes for both direct and idiosyncratic DILI.

The presentation was originally aired on December 12, 2024.
