Patricia Jones, MD, MSCR
Dr. Jones, a Hepatologist and Associate Professor of Clinical Medicine, trained at the University of North Carolina for Gastroenterology and Transplant Hepatology. She joined University of Miami faculty in 2015. She takes a multi-pronged approach to researching disparities in hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) and chronic liver disease. She used community-based participatory research to test the feasibility and acceptability of home-based hepatitis B screening. Dr. Jones established a prospective database and biorepository of diverse patients with chronic liver disease, cirrhosis, and HCC, which has supported various studies aimed at understanding the needs and perspectives of patients. Current NIH-funded research will investigate genetic determinants of risk and survival in diverse HCC patients to develop an individualized approach to care consistent with the tenets of Precision Medicine. Dr. Jones is also investigating how navigation impacts treatment characteristics and willingness of vulnerable populations to engage in research. She participates in multiple NIH-funded multicenter studies investigating the multilevel determinants contributing to disparities in outcomes and barriers to HCC screening. As a member of the American Association for the Study of Liver Diseases, Dr. Jones serves on the Global Outreach and Engagement Committee. Dr. Jones is also a member of the American Gastroenterological Association, the American Association for Cancer Research and the American College of Gastroenterology where she serves as Vice Chair of the Research Committee and chairs the Health Equity Research Award committee. She is also a co-leader of the African Caribbean Cancer Consortium Liver Cancer Working Group.

Jennifer Price, MD, PhD
Jennifer Price is an Associate Professor in the Department of Medicine and Division of Gastroenterology and Hepatology at the University of California, San Francisco (UCSF) and the Director of the UCSF Viral Hepatitis Center. Dr. Price leads the UCSF HCV Project Extension for Community Healthcare Outcomes (ECHO), a collaborative model of medical education and care management focused on building capacity for HCV care among primary care providers throughout Northern California. She launched UCSF’s first mobile liver clinical care unit, the DeLIVER Care Van, which aims to improve access to HCV screening and high-quality liver-related health care among medically and geographically marginalized communities.

Dr. P.N.Rao was best outgoing student of Kurnool Medical College Kurnool,India. Dr.Rao is an alumnus (M.D and D.M.) of prestigious, Post Graduate Institute of Medical Education and Research (PGI), Chandigarh. He was Assistant professor in Gastroenterology at Osmania Mediacl College, Hospital and as Professor of Gastroenterology at Nizams Institute of Medical sciences (NIMS) Hyderabad. He is one of the founding members of Coalition for Eradication of Viral Hepatitis in Asia Pacific (CEVHAP) an NGO with members from all over the globe. He has contributed chapters in API textbook, INASL monograms and original articles in basic research of HBV,HCV and NAFLD in peer reviewed journals. He been a Honarary visiting teaching faculty at National Institute of Nutrtion (HYDERABAD) for MSC (clinical Nutrtion) and examiner for the same under NTR Health University. His fields of interest in Hepatology include NAFLD (genetics) , alcoholic liver disease, drug induced liver injury. He has 150 publications.

Dr. Singh is Professor & Head of Department, Department of Gastroenterology, SCB Medical College, Cuttack, India. He is presently the President-Elect of INASL [Indian National Association for study of Liver] and is a recipient of multiple awards and author of many publication articles.

Norah Terrault, MD, MPH
Dr. Norah Terrault is a transplant hepatologist, the Neil Kaplowitz Professor of Medicine and Chief of Gastrointestinal and Liver Diseases Division at the Keck School of Medicine of University of Southern California in Los Angeles, California. Dr. Terrault has focused her clinical and research activities on viral hepatitis and fatty liver disease, with specific focus on patients with cirrhosis and liver transplant recipients. In addition to multiple clinical trials related to preventing and treating chronic hepatitis viral hepatitis and fatty liver, Dr. Terrault has been PI on multiple NIH-funded studies, including the current NIH-supported HBV clinical research network (HBRN), nonalcoholic steatohepatitis clinical research network (NASH CRN) and Liver Cirrhosis Network (LCN). She has authored over 400 peer-reviewed manuscripts, editorials, invited reviews as well as US national guidelines for treatment of chronic hepatitis B and C and reproductive health. Dr. Terrault served as the 2023 AASLD President.
