In honor of Hispanic Heritage month, this webinar will focus on the epidemiology and unmet needs in MASLD and MASH in the Hispanic/Latino community. Key challenges and unmet needs including screening, accurate risk stratification, access to pharmacotherapy and liver transplantation will be covered. Together, the speakers will highlight actionable strategies to close gaps in early detection, risk-based care, and access to advanced liver disease management for Hispanic/Latino patients.

Upon completion of this activity, participants should be able to:

• Describe the epidemiology and risk factors of MASLD/MASH in Hispanic/Latino populations
• Identify screening and risk-stratification strategies to improve early detection and treatment of MASLD/MASH in Hispanic/Latino patients
• Summarize the clinical course and unique considerations of cirrhosis management in this population.
• Highlight the role of liver transplantation for MASH cirrhosis including current challenges and areas for improvement in this community
