Description
This webinar is designed to identify some newly proposed definitions of Obesity and the proposed nomenclature for MASLD/METALD and ALD, describe the epidemiological studies of cross sectional and longitudinal cohorts of lean MASLD patients and associated risk of MALO and CV outcomes compared to controls, describe genetic and metabolic factors in the pathogenesis of lean MASLD, and identify the current FDA approved therapies for non-cirrhotic MASLD in patients who are lean or underweight. This activity is intended for hepatologists, gastroenterologists, nurses, nurse practitioners, pharmacists, physician assistants, surgeons, fellows, trainees, healthcare providers and patient advocates. Others with an interest in learning more about the diagnosis and treatment of lean MASLD are welcome to attend.
