Hepatoxicity SIG: Hepatotoxicity in inflammatory bowel disease: immunomodulators, biologics, and beyond

Description

In this presentation, the speaker will review the most common causes of hepatotoxicity in patients with inflammatory bowel disease. The existing literature on clinical phenotypes of injury due to azathioprine/ 6-mercaptopurine, TNF-alpha inhibitors, and anti-integrins will be reviewed and the potential underlying mechanisms will be discussed.
