La Asociación Americana para el Estudio de las Enfermedades Hepáticas y la Asociación Latinoamericana para el Estudio del Hígado presentarán un webinar conjunto sobre la simplificación del tratamiento de la hepatitis C y la gestión de poblaciones especiales. Durante la sesión, se abordarán temas clave como la elegibilidad, los regímenes recomendados y la monitorización durante el tratamiento simplificado del VHC. Además, se revisarán los efectos adversos clínicamente relevantes, las contraindicaciones y las interacciones medicamentosas asociadas con los fármacos utilizados en el tratamiento del virus de la hepatitis C. También se analizarán las complicaciones y el manejo de la infección por VHC en pacientes con cáncer, con especial énfasis en el carcinoma hepatocelular. Este webinar está dirigido a médicos hepatólogos, gastroenterólogos, infectólogos y profesionales en formación, así como a farmacéuticos, asistentes médicos y otros profesionales de la salud interesados en la temática.

The American Association for the Study of Liver Diseases and the Latin American Association for the Study of the Liver will be presenting a joint webinar regarding Hepatitis C treatment simplification and management of special populations. This webinar will discuss the eligibility, recommended regimens, and on-treatment monitoring for simplified HCV treatment, review clinically important adverse effects, contraindications, and drug-drug interactions associate with medications used in the treatment of the hepatitis C virus, and describe the complications and management of hepatitis C virus infection in cancer patients, with a special focus on hepatocellular carcinoma. This webinar will be of interest to both English and Spanish speaking fellows/trainees, gastroenterologists, hepatologists, pharmacists, physician assistants, and other healthcare providers.
