Achieving hepatitis C virus (HCV) elimination remains an important global public health priority.This webinar will review where global HCV elimination progress has succeeded, stalled and what strategies could get us back on track. This activity is intended for hepatologists, gastroenterologists, infectious disease specialists, primary care physicians, public health specialists, nurses, pharmacists, physician assistants, transplant coordinators, patient advocates, and healthcare providers. Others interested in global Hepatitis C elimination are also welcome to attend.

Upon completion of this activity, a participant should be able to:

• Evaluate global and US national progress regarding hepatitis C virus (HCV) elimination, highlighting both successes and challenges
• Discuss populations at risk for HCV and what gaps need to be addressed to bolster microelimination efforts
• Identify strategies that could get HCV elimination progress back on track

This educational activity has been planned in accordance with the AASLD Financial Disclosure Policy and ACCME Standards for the Integrity and Independence in Accredited Continuing Education by members of the Continuing Medical Education Committee. As an accredited provider, AASLD must collect information from all planners, faculty and others involved in the planning and control of continuing medical education (CME) activities to disclose all financial relationships with ineligible companies during the prior 24 months.
