Due to the many new and updated therapeutic options in liver treatments, the American Association for the Study of Liver Diseases has created new guidelines to help the physician identify paths to the best treatment options for the patient. This presentation discusses key updates and clinical implications of acute and chronic liver failure. During this guideline update, participants will be presented with ways to identify the key updates in the guidelines that will impact their practice and discuss the care of patients based on the new guideline recommendations.
