Negative outcomes, complications, or non-response can be highly educational and publishable.  <br /><br />Practical submission tips covered picking the right category, writing a specific title, avoiding overly vague or “mysterious” wording, meeting the 2,500-character limit, checking deadlines, and ensuring compliance with HIPAA, patient consent, and IRB requirements.  <br /><br />The session ended with encouragement to seek mentor feedback before submitting, learn from feedback if rejected, and use case reports as an accessible entry point into academic medicine.
